Upgraded my rear hub on the Instinct to a shiny new orange I9 Hydra. After having the I9's on my other bike I had to change this. Once you have the instant engagement its hard to go back.

I'm 6'1" and I had that exact 2007 Fit Sport. Plenty of room. I loved that car.

I personally don't have much riding experience on the Marin. I got my wife the Rift Zone 2. I rode that for a bit but it is small for me. The suspension feels plush. Not sure how it affects climbing. She's only ridden it once!

I rode the Instinct when Rocky had a demo day at our shop. I loved it. I knew it would fir in between my GT Force which is a full Enduro 170/160 travel. I had the Rocky Growler hardtail which I also loved but I knew that this would be my all around bike. I liked the way it climbed and descended...

The Growler is just taking a break. I like it too much to get rid of it. I’m eventually going to build it back up. I have many of the original parts before I upgraded it.

I’m going to need some MTBNJ stickers for this!! Starting to transfer all parts over from the Growler. Waiting on PF bottom bracket.
