A Wookies return.....

I’m hoping it does. It seemed to work for Frank for awhile
Welcome aboard Jake,
I will be starting the beginner rides back at Allaire in fact this coming Weds. say 6 pm hospital road lot.
All we need to do is bring a bike and water and a sense of humor might need to sign a waiver just to keep some high up lookee loos happy...
this as always will be a beginner paced ride as fast as the slowest person ( this will be me )...

“What can I do to help?” “What do you need?” - questions I’ve been asked daily by so many wonderful, concerned friends. Those same friends who have helped me to survive the past three weeks – no, the past five years. Well, actually, there is something. Frank and I used to cry whenever a St. Judes commercial came on TV. The thought of little children and their families going through what we were going through was just heartbreaking. Unimaginable. The only consolation was that those families would not suffer the financial devastation that cancer care wreaks. And St. Judes benefits adult cancer victims as well. They are world leaders in cancer research and, unlike Big Pharma, their breakthroughs are shared freely with healthcare providers worldwide. Frank most likely benefitted from treatment options that originated with St. Judes.

Anyway, Frank had a dream. He wanted to organize a cancer ride to benefit St. Judes. He contemplated charging admission, or just putting out big donation jars, maybe a raffle or 50/50, or selling t-shirts. Unfortunately, his failing health prevented him from undertaking it. So ….. there’s been talk of a memorial ride at Allaire. Is there any way that it might be tweaked to include a benefit? I know that Frank would be thrilled if he could be in some way responsible for helping others with cancer.

In to help with this.

I will let you know. Thank you for that info! At the moment, I have no way to get it there.

I'm not sure the rack is 2". It might be 1&1/2. How do I find out?

You can use a tape measure to measure this part of the rack. Across the flat parts of the square. Also if unsure 2" is much easier to adapt down to 1 1/4 than it is to go the other way.
