Good luck 👍 there is significantly more carryover from cycling to running fitness than from running to cycling so the indoor set up will definitely be a better option if riding fitness it the goal.
I'd like to do some mountain bike races if I can get them to fit into my calender. Currently doing 6 Triathalons in 2026 from sprint all the way up to my first full distance. I spent significantly more time on the road then in the woods this year and I would like to add more trail days back in 2026.

Apparently it happens more often when the strap is new and more often with trail running. I tried everything then gave up and took it off. I deleted and restarted the activity 3 times making sure it was paired each time and took my watch off just ti make sure it was still reading a heartbeat...
