Wanted: Heavy Duty 29er wheelset: boost, alum, i30, MS driver, 32h preferred

That sucks, especially those times when it abrupty ends your day early unless you can get a spare. Happened to me the one time i brought my everyday trail bike to Creek to try riding a more nimble bike on the flow trails. Wasnt even a tech trail but a rock somewhere crushed the sidewall of the...

Not that many... lol I've killed 2 rears on the park bike. Creek rock gardens aren't kind to your wheels. My last set of DT enduro rims have held up the best but the rear has collected way too many dents all around and is time for an upgrade.

Do you have a link to that exact model? Need to see what rim is on there. I need something with strong DH rated rims and the hubs can just be mediocre. Hydras may be too much front bike that's never pedaled..

Thanks for the heads up. Those use the older 933 rim which was soft as butter. I know, i bent a couple. 😆

Need a new set of rugged wheels for park use. My last set are too trashed to continue using. Needs to be 29er boost spacing. Should be 32 hole and around i30 width. Would prefer its Microspline driver. No carbon. Lightly used is fine, nothing heavily used with damage already (i'll do that part)...

Reminds me of back in the day i was putting coilovers on my old WRX and was trying to get the lower strut pinch bolts to break loose. I was pushing on the bar rather than pulling (bit mistake) and when it popped loose, my hand went up and i knuckle punched the fender at the 12:00 position and...

Welp, there goes 8oz of sealant and a long walk back--gash too big to seal. Not off to a good start here. lol

    Gas powered bikes?

Ive ridden the pines for years and have had lighter enduro bikes and heavier DS bikes and regardless of which, tires make ALL the difference. I'll take a 650 on Scorpions or similar soft tires vs a 450 on dual sport tires any day. In fact, i used to run my KTM 690 on Scorpion XCMS's and could...

9 psi, way too high, rear end bouncing like a beach ball down the trail. 6 psi was better in rear but the front gets sluggish steering. Seems like fat bikes could be a case where you run higher psi in front than rear (if you are running a sus fork)?

Can anyone give me some tire pressure starting recommendations for different situations like typical hardpack trail (rock, root, dirt), hard snow/sand and lastly softer snow/sand? Me and bike are about 230# rtr and the tires are 27.5x4.5". Just ran it through the Wolftooth pressure calc and they...

My new carbon hoops arrived, it only took 3 holidays to get here from the land of carbonium. Be warned this new "duty free shipping" gets around the T-word but at the cost of an extra fortnite or two of waiting for some reason. For 80mm 27.5's laced to DT350s, they come in at 2040g so i was...

Yes it is happy to avoid those, however, it it's happy to wander right into an active police standoff situation. 🤣🤣
