Is there? I thought the only rules were 1. Don't ride when muddy. 2. Don't ride closed trails. 3. General trail etiquette (calling out to hikers, letting people go by, etc.) Seems pretty bog standard to me
Swapped some new bars/tape for the gravel rig. I think the new bars have a slightly longer reach though, so might need to get a shorter stem next. Still have a few more changes to make before Grinduro in June.
Made the same mistake my first time! The fireman's trail is no joke, about a 26-28% grade climb for 0.10 mi according to Trailforks. I've hike-a-bike'd it a handful of times and always regret not just taking the longer climb trail north instead.
But yeah definitely park in the other lot, much...
Ah okay good to know, thanks!
And yeah the adapter definitely seems like a large part of the issue. I'm gonna give the Wolftooth a shot but I might upgrade the post down the line too, we'll see.
Not sure which model but this is the one I have. It's adapted quite poorly to the i-spec EV so it ends up sitting pretty low and requires a lot of throw to get the dropper going.
You'd think for a bike that costs over $6000 msrp (I got a good sale to be clear lol) Trek would spec their own dropper with a lever that doesn't feel like complete garbage, but then again it's Trek 😆 New dropper lever on the way.
bone dry as always, and a lot of trail debris from the past winter. There is a small tree down across Cheeseman Super D just after the chute, so watch out as it's a faster section.
