Son is in Paris with GF, who is there for work for fashion week. Spotted this art car on display. E9 CSL is one of my favorite Bimmers. Back when BMW made beautiful cars.
Agree on Elk. It’s got an old school VT vibe albeit on a PA scale size-wise. You can also buy 2 and 4 hour reloadable passes so you don’t have to spend more money or time than you want to.
I went to Blue today. Got on the slopes from topside at 8:00 sharp. Did 8 runs, done by 9:30 just as the lines were starting to grow, hit the road at 10 and home by 11:30. Today was my first day of the season so I took it easy.
Thinking of going to Blue tomorrow. This is what it looks like today at 1:00. 😳. Hoping that It’s not like this on the Monday of a holiday weekend? 🤷♂️
I’d recommend reroutes of the sections I’ve marked in red. They are either fall line (thus eroding) or gullied (retain water) or boring (rubble-y fire road). On the latter, we need to keep the fire road for emergency access but an adjacent singletrack would be a nice asset
As per my 2020 list...
I bought this pair a while ago but they have maybe three ice rides on them since I mainly ride fatties in winter conditions. You can still see the residual rubber from the molding process, they are that pristine.
29x 2.1. 294 studs per tire. Wire bead. Rated highly for traction here...
Yep. What @roc said. Great place for families. We took our daughter there when she was 5. Good ski school and enough terrain for your 8 year old (that was my sons age then).
