Back when Cannondale was trying to emulate Colnago. My Colnago frame & fork has "Colnago" on it in 12 different locations by my last count.

Given there's no brakes, I'm guessing it's all fixed gear. I'd love to see a video of it being pushed along, but my Google-fu has failed me. I'm imagining the rear wheel turning normally and then each chainring going forward turning slower until you get to the pedals and movement is pretty much...

Thinking about how difficult (impossible?) it would be to turn the pedals, the locks seem a bit superfluous...

Same. I used to run Continental Double Fighters on my Indy Fab Deluxe back in the late 90's. When the conditions were right, they were so much fun.

They would probably be the ticket for setting a PR at 6MR if you can get a lap in during low-use times.

Sold by the case? From reading the description, it sounds like the 170TPI version is basically design to last for ONE race. Riding these on the local trails would be like running DOT R-Comps on the street... technically you could... but it would be a bit of a waste.

Those seem to be popular in Europe as camera bikes during road races.

That is probably the main reason they have front suspension - to allow for one side to compress when leaning. And because the suspended weight is spread between two forks, those forks can be set pretty soft.

Reverse tricycle?

I detest riding on greenway paths for that reason - walkers, joggers, rollerblades... dogs on leashes... it's just not enjoyable for anyone. I feel safer on the road with cars. At least with drivers I can generally predict what they are going to do. Strava? It's like any other type of...

I suppose leasing may be an option, but if you consider how auto leases are typically calculated, I would not expect one for a bike to be cheap. Say you want to lease a $10K bike for a year. You're basically taking out a $10K loan, so there's the interest on that. Then there's the...
