    23-24 Ski and Snowboard thread

My wife, dogs, and I drive up to Stowe on Saturday to ski Sunday / Monday and check out the eclipse. Sunday was soft with plenty of snow and blue bird skies. The snow was sticky and a lot or work to maneuver on but very fun. Woods still had ample coverage but I had to change my turning style...

Ummm, ok.... maybe some mid school bmx trivia? What video had the song "I Like Your Mom"? Clue - screenshot of a young Mike Aitken from it.

    International RAD day

Nice!👍 Good to know there is another old bmx head out there! Kevin Hull was a neighbor to someone in DRI (I think Krt). He had the DRI slam man on his plates in a lot of his photos. Sidenote: I bought my first DRI album (22 Song LP) at an indoor bmx race in Northampton, MA in the mid 80's...

    International RAD day

Cool to see the list of riders. Some of them I have no clue who they were but most of them are ingrained in my memory bank from reading BMX magazines of the era. Quick trivia for RAD fans: - which one lived down the street from the hardcore band DRI? - which one rode a 2 piece bmx frame later...

    International RAD day

Didn't know there would be this many RAD fans on here. I'm with Scott Towne's opinion and thought RAD was goofy when it came out but have come to appreciate it and it's impact on riders over the years. Poor Boy Steev did a small run of these, in case any of you are interested...

    Car-spotting thread

I don't know Series that much but it seems to be the 2.25 petrol gives issues more so than the diesel version. I've heard the 12J 2.5 NA diesel from 90s and 110s will bolt in without much work and those are readily available from people going to 200tdi's (and 300tdi's). Not a power house but...

I haven't seen that one around the area. I like the build tho. Owners are crazy not to cage these vehicles - there is not much to them!

    23-24 Ski and Snowboard thread

My buddy Pete is local to me here in NJ lol - but he does have a lot of time in Snowmass and overall knows the mtn well but doesn't have my eternal search for "the goods". We did get a little tip from a couple of local snowboarders earlier that day on the lift and followed thru with it (that's...

    23-24 Ski and Snowboard thread

Last Wednesday was another great day. We went over to Highlands to explore for remnants of the storm. Word was Snowmass got the most at 17" and the other ares were closer to a foot. After a couple of steeper but torn up and chunky lift served runs (but some nice sections found in the woods)...

    23-24 Ski and Snowboard thread

I was in Aspen / Snowmass last week with a buddy from town (who also has a family condo at Snowmass ). First day we skied Ajax which was firm but sunny and neat to see the mtn setting up for the World Cup event. The 2nd day was one for the books. We went to Snowmass as he knows it very...
