    Car-spotting thread

Expect to see a lot more, Hyundai and Kia were/are supplying local police stations with them to give to residents who own Kia’s/Hyundai because their theft rates are so high b/c so easy to steal.

Biggest crash in stock market history?

I’m in hunterdon, not sure we saw that kind of sustained value increase in our home price, and yes, our household income has matched the home price increase. Many people leveraged the labor demands to level up and certainly jumped their income by 30% over the last 3 years…, but I get your...

Biggest crash in stock market history?

Since May, wage growth has been beating inflation. The prices are high because people people keep buying crap, consumer spending is still high, holiday spending dwarfed expectations. it really is pretty good times in the USA, it’s the healthiest economy going.

Biggest crash in stock market history?

And yet people still use the term “in this economy” as if we’re in the Great Depression, even when unemployment is at all time low as well… I don’t get it. it’s as if people are told it’s a bad economy and they think it actually is despite the numbers

    Pads and Armor Cleaning

I use an ozone box for stinky clothes and helmets. I put my ozone machine and clothes in a Tupperware box and run it for an hour to so, I let clothes sit overnight in box

Sleep?!?! How do you do it?

Similar to the suggestion of the audiobook, I use the app slumber when I get racing brain, it tells nonsense stores in a pretty hypnotic voice, it is more effective than melatonin for me, usually puts me asleep in under 20 minutes

    Sourlands Mountain Preserve Conditions

Rode there the last two Sunday mornings, it was leafy, but often times the packed down leaves highlighted the best lines, so nice. I didn’t notice any major changes to lines (rode lower, to new shoes, to three amigos, montezuma, to center connector), but I’m not really that observant when riding.

    E-bikes are a thing

I breathe less on a e-bike and therefore emit less CO2. I did the math, it’s carbon neutral.

Building up mobility, strength and resilience when in the 50s to notch up the MTB skillset

I have found kettlebells to give me what you seem to be looking for, and the nature of the movements helps mobility. Because you never get into super heavy weight, injury is less of a concern as well. My current program has helped my mobility tremendously, particularly in regard to back and...

    Ask an automobile mechanic.

This happened to me with my Passport after the dealer changed the oil… turns out the oil drained onto the control arm and pooled there, then leaked out and into the garage. Rather sloppy for a dealership in my opinion.

Cars, it's electric! Do Do Do

EVs will get better and cheaper, ICE vehicles got and are getting better. no one wants a clapped out 10+ year old ICE car either… low mileage or not 10+ year old cars will be less reliable regardless of miles… but buying an old EV isn’t like an old iPhone. It’s a bad analogy because the network...

    Another Cyclist Murdered

idk, I really didn’t find it that hard for the ID card and which one of these procedures would you cut out? Which law is too hard to comply with?

Cars, it's electric! Do Do Do

I moved from bike market crashing to here… seems more appropriate here. Maybe, but maybe not. appliances are getting more efficient, grids are getting smarter and can shut off high load devices for short periods of time. Air conditioning is one of the biggest load on the grid, more large...
