Trail Maintenance - don't do this

This annoys me too, there are riders who regularly use the trails behind my house and it is starting pile up. The trails are one thing, I was surprised to see them leave it on the middle of the bridge like this, there’s an ordinance to pick it up, but I don’t think anyone abides by it.

    Tariffs...what to make of them.

    Tariffs...what to make of them.

Housing is lacking across the country in the $500k and under segment. Like you noted, people coming over the boarder illegally are not the primary competition for $600k houses, but they are competing for houses below that as well as other programs such as Section 8 and other subsidized housing...

    Tariffs...what to make of them.

Not sure what the immigration thing was about, but it helped inflate the housing prices and took affordable housing away. Not saying all the illegal immigrants are going to be deported, because there is no way that is ever going to happen, but if immigration halts for a bit it can allow housing...

Brand New Niner ROS 9 Frameset and build kit

I am looking for a bike for my daughter (5’4”ish and growing) and wife (5’7”ish). To use at Nassau, Nox, 6mile. Ideally would like one that they could both use. I couldn’t find what size rider a medium this would fit, but guessing it’s probably too big for them?

    IT band syndrome

They were handing out these Thera-canes at a PT conference my wife went to. I have found it better then foam rolling, used on IT band and recently on my piriformis (I think, not sure) it’s a tight spot in my lower side of back that always hurts after riding. Prior I would roll with lacrosse ball.

Things that make you go Wow 😲

I find it interesting, in a discussion ultimately about 2A, that the idea of “everyone being treated equal” is a problem… and further that we want, who I would assume is a government agency to confine individuals for acts we think they might commit. Protecting innocence is a core value of our...

    What's the preferred loop?

I don’t consider myself a SL expert, so this may not be the most recommended loop, but I ride this system fairly frequently, my usual loop is below, sometimes I will go up pipeline and take the river bed connector (in the red line), if your feeling strong and it’s not wet, you csn do chunky...

It's 2025 Is an Emtb in your near future?

I don’t get the ride further either, I only have a 1-2 hours to ride and my butt gives out before my lungs or legs. I want the short window to be an intense workout, I don’t have the multi hour time I think is necessary to stay fit on a e-bike. I also don’t understand how e-bike pushers say on...

Biggest crash in stock market history?

I’m in hunterdon, not sure we saw that kind of sustained value increase in our home price, and yes, our household income has matched the home price increase. Many people leveraged the labor demands to level up and certainly jumped their income by 30% over the last 3 years…, but I get your...

Biggest crash in stock market history?

Since May, wage growth has been beating inflation. The prices are high because people people keep buying crap, consumer spending is still high, holiday spending dwarfed expectations. it really is pretty good times in the USA, it’s the healthiest economy going.

Biggest crash in stock market history?

And yet people still use the term “in this economy” as if we’re in the Great Depression, even when unemployment is at all time low as well… I don’t get it. it’s as if people are told it’s a bad economy and they think it actually is despite the numbers
