Car-spotting thread

I was doing about 90 on 287 and got passed by a white 911 convertible like I was standing still. Had to doing at least 150 in the right lane.

Three of us and we social distanced.? There is no comparison to getting under the hood and from the pictures shoulder to shoulder. I can't see how you can even try to defend such blatant disregard for others.

More likely to get infected:

1. walk by an infected person at a car show for 2 sec within 6 ft

2. ride behind an infected person for 1+ hr.

Not what I'm saying at all. The "Covid" will never be gone (see "the Flu"). What I'm saying is that at this time the masks and limited "social distancing" are not driving the death rate. Stay inside and wait for the vaccine if you are truly concerned.

It is not a bad discussion to have, just not here.

P.S. Are you an "asshat" for driving your car even though there are 30K deaths per year from car accidents?

Yeah right. More like stand shoulder to shoulder talking cars or riding one bike behind the other in a line. Sorry bud not the same. I've already been tested clean or else I would not have invited Brett and Paul. I know the 2 people I rode with today and trust that they are clean also or I doubt they would have joined in. I doubt you can say the same about your car show. But egos must be fed. Childlike disregard for what is now standard practice. Because the goading is just too ridiculous. I just can't see anyone defending this position but I should have known.

These three are behind a Ford Expedition with a rusted out rear bumper, that just about blots out the sun in combination with wildly overgrown undergrowth. All of this is on the North side of Westfield in a rather upscale neighborhood.
