HOH 2020 - April 5th

do a strava flyby and watch all the cut-offs. does it really matter?

I don’t remember on previous years of the current loop but last year at Aunt Molly & 518 they had a sign for the short cut back to the start.

Yes that’s been the only official shortcut since they moved the ride to the current start/finish spot a few years ago.

It’s a good option for anyone who is toast and needs to just get done because that last climb section is a killer for sure.

The whole course has plenty of “unofficial” shortcuts if you study the map for a few minutes it’s not hard to spot these.

With the new official distances I see it that they are catering to some folks who want to try a ride like this in smaller increments to see how it goes.

And yes you can ride 25s on this event I’ve done it 4 times with conti gator skins and been fine.

Doing HOH for the first time this year... I've always heard so many good things about this ride, so I'm stoked to give it a try. I've done many of the roads on self supported rides out to New Hope, but it will be cool to see the route as a whole.
