Is it a fad, a group or a club? It's OOS, the thread to rule them all!

The issue with that is if someone is not paying attention for a few days they can miss the post with the ride info if a few of us are admin one person doesn't have to take the lion share of paying attention. Most likely an admin will be involved in that conversation or will just be inviting people out to ride with them. Remember those post work rides we had in the spring and summer, I want to go from wanting to ride to riding with people within the day but also advertise on strava so anyone can join.

The more the merrier
The issue there.... is multiple ppl logging in to do the same thing. Waste of time.
Its better to have 1 person doing it at a time. When a ride gets posted, that person must be tagged in that post in order for the ride to be created in strava.
No need to make it hard for the admins.... if a ride doesn't get posted because the admin wasn't tagged... well that's your fault.

Make things realistic.... IMO unrealistic to have something on strava on the day of. Even if you have more than 1 admin.... that doesn't mean all ppl will not busy doing other things at a given time. Sure... its minimized but does not guarantee.

Also.... it is my observation that the things you are saying are covering your personal needs.
Whether that's wrong or right... I have my own opinion and I keep them to myself.

This is a problem we don't have yet, also there are push notifications from strava. You'll know if someone else did it.

Paul. When I was posting Strava rides under your administration, a notice would go out automatically to all of the members. The Wildcat ride for Friday did not send out a notice. Is that something you previously had in the settings?

Nope

I apologize, I am not able to contribute more really busy at work for the last 2 days and am way behind on the conversation and what is being discussed. I don't want anyone to think I don't respect anyone or appreciate the group. I have met a lot of great people I consider friends and would like to continue riding with you guys, but right now I am struggling to keep up with the discussion. Hopefully, I get caught up and see you guys soon to discuss.

Nope... I've done it multiple times when Vic accepted new members.
I could be wrong but I am pretty sure the request to join is a notification... but acceptance is not

Yeah that's it, but posting rides get posted and everyone knows. Rides getting time changed also get pushed

Correct. There is a notice sent for request to join but once you except it the only way you’ll know is seeing a new person listed on the group. One of the reasons why I welcomed new people and hoped they would introduce themselves
