OOS MOGA

@arangov3 mentioned Tourne was a bit small, but fine with either or anywhere else. I'd rather others pitch on recommendations and we can adjust accordingly. I only like to alternate between north and south of I78 since we have some who can't drive to North Jersey every weekend.

Never been to Tourne. How about Tourne this week and LewMo next?
Should throw CR in here somewhere.
Also, what about Wlldcat?

In. Cat 3 +45. ☺ Give it a go!
next year, absolutely no mojo this year, something off and probably has to do with all the tires tests and bike switches this year.
So far in the 5 OOS ride I've ridden 5 different bikes. Fat was washed and going up for storage till the leaves start dropping.

Also doing Mountain Creek for the first time this Friday so I'm already a bit petrified, keep me as a maybe for Sunday.

MC!! I am going to start calling you MC Walter. Do a write up so the rest of the noobs can vicariously experience DH riding.

we should all commit to one race next year. It's actually fun at CAT 3, CAT 2 a bit more serious especially at the top.
Definitely at least on short track, but weather is always iffy
I was thinking about the short track for next year. If I can consistently ride all thru this year, I am prolly in for at least 1 short track.
Cat 3 racing, will prolly be a stretch.

We'll incorporate a few training rides in our series, that's the only way we'll work up the effort needed to race. In the Fall, we'll start pushing the pace a bit and see how it goes. We OOS guys have 3 months to prepare, don't slack off....

I was at Mt. Creek for the first time in May. It's a lot of fun and just mainly stuck with the green and blue trails. Until my friend and I ended up going down a short black diamond section. I think you may have seen the GoPro video I posted on my Facebook?

Not sure about this. I am sure the regulars would welcome this but for the new comers, don't want to scare them off.... not like we will ride at Cat 2 speeds all of a sudden but I think we should keep it at a fun pace. Besides, if yesterday's ride was any indication, we had 9 ppl on this ride? When there is a good number of ppl, perhaps we can break up into "I might puke" and "I will definitely puke" group lol

I'm happy to show you guys around Wildcat, but I'm on call this weekend and can't really commit to anything. I would need to stay somewhat close to the car with the possibility of bailing on you guys.

Yeah... I saw that but you know how GoPro doesn't really show the steepness? Watching it on video, you're like "sure I can do that" but when you are there, you're like "i'm gonna die" lol

nope, PM the link, too lazy to look it up
Did you rent or take the Trek? @Juggernaut, who has been blasting the greens, and mastering the blues, will be my guide.

I don't think it will be this weekend but you sir have been marked as our tour guide for Wildcat when we muster up the guts to ride there.
Will contact you a head of time to figure out the logistics.

I'll only make you guys puke every other weekend.
