Sorry for the silly sport questions - but how does this work anyways? Will all racers in each category be let out of the gate at the same time? How long is the course? Will be my first Short Track Race. Looking forward to the mudpit.

It's xc format so mass start for each cat group. Short track is roughly 1.5 miles. You will race until your eyes will bleed over forty minutes. Good luck and most important have fun.
