Book of Paul H

My 2nd thing came in today. Baselayer bottoms. It's a bit tight. I'm gonna call them compression. Gotta start ordering a size up.

On the bus to work and its uncomfortable. Why? My gut! Gained 5lbs. I havent been running or riding as much. Heck... I dont think I have ran in about 2 months and been only riding maybe once a week. Even on my rides, I dont think I push myself enough. Just at a comfortable pace and enjoying the scene. My bs excuse is... Its winter and its cold and I think I have gotten bored of running as well. I cant say I will start running again anytime soon but I need to start riding more or at least push up the intensity.

I get so lazy in the winter and I go into hibernation mode. I swear I must have been a bear in my past life.

Ok... Bear tomorrow.
Whenever I rode 2 days in a row, I felt stronger on the 2nd day so I wanted to take a quick spin this morning but I also have an appointment with my accountant at 10AM. It, 7:20 now and I am still in bed so I don't think that quick ride will happen lol

I have been meaning to get some shoes but just been too afraid of them. After talking with @jumpa and @1sh0t1b33r today... I think I need to go forward with this and try on the roadie first and work my way up to mountain. But the problem is, I know nothing about them. Only thing I "think" I know is that I need to start with multi-release cleats. What I do need... are comfortable ones to walk in since I hike the bike quite a bit. So where the hell do I start? Do I need to just pick a day and try on a bunch of shoes?
