I would probably say the weight difference is a wash, but I'll try to head to Jim's shop to weigh both wheelsets this week. Pressures were about 15lbs front and about 18lbs back, @jimvreeland literally set the wheelset up tubless an hour before the test ride so I didn't want to risk burping by dropping it any lower, but I will play around with pressures on the next ride

Thanks. I would think you could go significantly lower. I run 15 now on my 29er. I'm getting a horsethief in a few months and also get a 27.5+ 3" wheelset so interested in your observations

That looks like an awesome bike, I've been eyeing the horsethief and the stumpjumper 6fattie, both look dope!
