Off today - horay for dead presidents. So going to hit the road in a few hours. Crazy temps for sure.
 
It was forcasted to rain off and on and then get windy and cold, should have rode at lunch, wtf!
 
Umm, yeah that rain was cold! I looked at the bright blue sky and headed out, about 30 minutes in, noticed this very large very dark cloud. Then it started to rain and it felt like the temperature dropped 15* (but apparently it didn't!) and it was cold! nothing like icy rain running down the backof your bike shorts, that's for sure! :rofl: Of course, now that I am home, and dry, the sun is out again, full force 😎
 
Today was awesome. Got a flat tire about 90 minutes in, then hit by the rain for 15 minutes after that. Despite that, today was the fastest ride I've ever done in my life. After the ride, I took my daughter on an hour long wagon ride. And I didn't have to work. Sign me up for more!
 
My ride was some weird combo of yours Neen and Norm. It was beautiful and sunny for the first half, wet cold and miserable for the second! Dont think it was anything spectacular speed-wise, but I did push the big ring an overwhelming majority of the ride, which hurt a lot. Going to map it on mapmyride, I feel a lot worse than my 70 miler the other day, but have a bad feeling I rode less today.
 
Anyone up for a road ride next Sunday? Hopefully it'll break 50 tomorrow and stay that way for the week. If it's above the 50 degree mark by Saturday, I'm oficially spinning the dust off my road wheels.

i work in an engineering office, go to get dressed around 11:45, ride for an hour, quick shower (one in the office) and back to my desk around 1:15. Works out pretty well...
 
I should try this too....I get 1hr lunch...I can probably skip the shower 😀

Seems like I will do my 1st official road ride this weekend since I got crap to do both Sat & Sun that will prevent me from hitting the trails.
