Going Long and Hard.

Hmm. He sorta comes off as a dick in that article...Like an old grumpy guy that thinks records are better than iPods and that music written for iPods isn't actually music.

I didn't read the full article to be honest 🙂 but it wouldn't surprise me. He posts quite a bit on the Fatbikes forum in mtbr and he does that some times. There's a thread that I'll try to locate for you very interesting. He discusses a lot of things related to endurance fat biking in detail--and in doing so he ruffles many feathers. I go past that and just pay attention to the interesting stuff.

I actually fell through the ice taking that last picture up to my waist. It was a very good test of the waterproofness of my gear. Thankfully I stayed dry 😀

-Jim.

No way, you must have gotten wet and cold on way back. Were you wearing a scuba suit?

Rebecca Rusch's Fatboy set-up for JayP's race. She ended up 4th overall. Mark did it in 27 hours, not sure what his place was. Doing those races back-to-back is insanity.

Pearl maybe?

I'd rather stay out of the comp if possible. It's not what I need to be focusing on and it seems to be going very well without the big hitters in it this year.

Jim you can't back out of comp. Everyone loves to follow your rides and the comp opens those rides too more peeps . Please don't go.

No way buddy. The comp is doing just fine. Hell, even NORM rode his bike!!

I think my rides de-motivate people which is why there was such a heavy emphasis on handicapping me as much as possible. I took that as a kind way of saying I wasn't welcome...

I disagree Jim, you are very welcome in the comp. Everybody knows what you can do on the bike and everyone enjoys following along with your rides. You're the reason Norm's riding so much. ( well you and that he is not working 😉---), Hell I just rode today because I saw your H & H & SH loop and said shit I gotta do something.. Just keep posting up and play along, otherwise I'm gonna post more Planet Bike shots I have from our old days together..:getsome:
