Walter's No-Frills Spring Short Track #3 - PICTURES!

Thanks for taking photos! Was only in 2 due to flatting on my third lap... lol

Anyways, my buddy used to photograph our whole collegiate conference road season, anytime he wasn't racing he'd have his camera around his neck. Definitely appreciate the effort you put in.

Question to gtluke, or anyone who's gotten a photo: What's the best finish if it's going in frame? Or what's the difference between the finishes?

I just copied this from the interwebs, but:

Which is better, Glossy, Matte or Lustre® finishes?

It is a personal choice and sometimes can depend on what is being printed.

The Glossy option is perfect for detailed/technical prints or photograph images. However, please note that glossy prints cannot be framed due to the fact that the print sticks to the glass.

The Matte finish offers a flat, texturized finish with little to no glare. Some find this finish is better for paintings and darker prints although it works for any type of image.

The Lustre is wonderful for both, capturing the best qualities from Glossy and Matte and combining them into one beautiful finish. Please note, the Lustre finish has more saturated inks which can sometimes result in a darker image.

Nice pics as always Luke.

Seriously, the race promoters should charge an extra dollar in entry fees and kick it to Luke for his services. I'd pay it no problem for any race I will be in.

Thanks everyone for the rush of pic purchases from my crying ;-)
Yeah pat that's what I have been saying. Even $1 from everyone would make it totally worth it for free pictures from me.
Then I could experiment and get way different shots if I wasn't trying to isolate each individual person every lap.

K, you race next sat, we leave and go climbing at the gap!
