How much snow did you get in your town? Post it here. I put this in General Thread so you can make an informed decision as to where to ride...let us know what you got.
Cranford-7.5"

about a foot in South Amboy. I havent been outside yet but my daughter is out on the front lawn and the snow is easily up to her knee.

they're calling Neptune 18". Unbelievable ride home from show at Count Basie in Red Bank last night at midnight.

17" in my drive way in Browns Mills

Looks like someone needs to gas up the snow shovel!

Here in Del Boca Vista we got a mere dusting of the white stuff. Yippie!

One thing is cool here in the country, when it snows people don't freak out like they do in NJ. To the locals 12 inches of snow is just another day in the sticks. My Mom told me that yesterday alone there were 1500!!! car crashes in NJ alone!

7" in my yard in Boonton Township about a mile from the Tourne. I'm getting ready to ride the Karate Monkey over to the Tourne right now and try to ride the trails. The snow is light and dry enough that it might be nice.

Had a great snow ride yesterday at the Tourne a little before sunset. There was an inch or two on the ground and it was cold. The snow was really fine and dry and traction was excellent. Whenever I put power to the cranks the tires would squeak in the snow. It was pretty cool.

Riding the trails today at the Tourne was interesting. It was mostly ridable but hard work on the flats, anywhere going downhill was awesome and I pretty much couldn't ride at all on even a slight uphill. Some turd on skis got there before me and messed up some of the trails. It was much easier to ride when I was breaking trail and putting first tracks down. Unless you don't mind walking a lot (which I don't mind) I wouldn't bother.

I'm guessing the trails will be a lot more ridable in a couple of days, as long as they don't get icy.

The red? trail, the western most trail up on the ridge was mostly unridable. The wind is blowing and it's drifting up there. In a couple of spots my hubs were under the snow. In the same area where the snow is deep a couple of weeks ago we had a big blow and the leaves were at least a foot deep too. The leaves were really fun to ride through.

After shovelling snow and then riding in the snow for almost two hours I'm amazingly beat. I'm going to spend the afternoon watching football and playing World of Warcraft.

I can post about the trails there again tomorrow if anyone is interested. I'll probably try riding there almost every day this week.

Around the same in West Long Branch. The drifts on the leeward side of our car and house were in the 3 foot+ range. 3 hours of shoveling to clear everything, apart from the plowed-in driveway, which is next.

I think this will fulfill my exercise quota for today.:drooling:
