Alright, I am looking to head to Kingdom in either August or September. I have to plan now since my training schedule has to be submitted by end of June.

I would like to go for an entire week SAT-(SAT/SUN) but a four day weekend might work.

Anyone interested?

As I get closer to nailing down the dates I will update this post.

Got some possible dates:

August 8-16 (Sat-Sun, 9 days)
August 22-25 (Sat-Tue, 4 days)

I have planned for July 17th weekend so I would be able to make this one as I'll be planning a trip to MOAB.

Yeah, I seen your post and was hoping to make it, but I have a class running that Thu/Fri.

If no one else can make this trip, I'm still going. I am just hoping to get a group together for more fun/egging on.

I'd be interested in an extended weekend ride. I don't know how you guys can ride for a week straight. After 2 days of riding, my legs feel like they're about to fall off. Besides, I have a newborn and a 2 year old and there's no way I'm talking my wife into letting me out of a week straight of daddy duty.

I've been meaning to explore somes locations outside of NJ and Kingdom is probably tops on my list in terms of proximity and quality. I guess this means I'm going to need to pull the trigger soon on a hardtail 29er I've been desiring. I have a turner now which would just be overkill from what I've read.

If I go for a whole week I'll be taking my kayak with me to break it up a little.

For the record, I drive a Ford Ranger so I have a truck bed that can carry multiple bikes along with my kayak. However, I can only carry one passenger. This means we either take somebody else's car or more than one car is going to be used.

I pretty much go with the flow, so we can camp in tents or rent a condo. I believe Mare said she camped last time and the campgrounds weren't too bad, but mosquito's were a pain.

July 9-12
July 23-26
August 8-16

Figured I'd hold off on September due to Jorba Fest.

I'm taking off these from work no matter what.

Now is there a Sun Dance? I know of the Rain Dance.

Ok, took July off the board. My friend is being shipped out at beginning of August and I'm using these dates to visit him and his wife.

I understand if no one can make it out for a whole week. I might take part of the week and go to Raystown and take the other half and go to Kingdom.

They weren't bad. The campgrounds were nice enough...they have what you need. The house I stayed in last year though was soooo much better!! Grill, ponds to swim in, deck, nothing but green all around you, and a hot shower.

Nice. Any input on best trails would be welcome. Also, how are you planning on staying in the area: condo/hotel/camping?

Don't worry about the best trails...you will try them all. If you plan to ride for about 3 days of good riding, you will hit them all.

You gonna join us on this one?

El Zoller, if you have the time you should definitely check out Mills Stone Hill in southern VT on your way back:

It may not look like much from that website but the trails were pretty awesome. Well groomed and well labeled with the map. There are trails of varying difficulty and there is a good amount of Ringwood like singletrack.

It works similar to KT. You go to the main center, pay something around $8, and get a map. Tell them what type of riding you want to do and they will highlight a route. With the map and signage there is no chance of missing anything.

Southern VT is more rocky than Northern
