Tariffs...what to make of them.

Took all this time but team trump finally whitewashed the Epstein files and is supporting them released, after fighting so long and hard to not. Only name left standing in them will be Clinton, Bill AND Hilary.
I’m guessing the strategy relates to the investigations he’s set in motion - can’t release materials related to ongoing cases

It's quite possible that there is nothing there on him. If there was anything incriminating don't you think they would have bought it to light in 2016. It was never mentioned during the Biden administration while they indicted him on everything under the sun multiple occasions but never Epstein. By forcing the opening of the files don't you think the democrats are throwing Clinton under the bus. His name is everywhere in the files. This blind hatred of Trump is going to sooner or later blow up in their faces. I'm in a republican stronghold state but still people I've heard talking are fed up with the negativity and want to hear what they're planning on doing in the future. Just an observation.

I agree.
The collateral damage..

Clinton is irrelevant now. Who else?
Gates got ahead of it and said he met Epstein.

It is the business leaders who make political donations who are going to be listed. They can redact them and claim they were looking for specific people?

Gee, I hadn't thought of that. However, based on all the smoke:

[Wikipedia]

Since the 1970s, at least 28 women have accused Donald Trump of various acts of sexual misconduct, including rape, and kissing and groping without consent; looking under women's skirts; and walking in on naked teenage pageant contestants. Trump has denied all of the allegations. He has a history of insulting and belittling women when speaking to the media and on social media, and has made lewd comments about women, disparaged their physical appearance, and referred to them using derogatory epithets.

In October 2016, two days before the second presidential debate with Hillary Clinton, a 2005 "hot mic" recording surfaced in which Trump was heard saying that "when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. ... Grab 'em by the *****." The incident's widespread media exposure led to Trump's first public apology during the campaign, and caused outrage across the political spectrum.

Not sure what you mean here? Do I have to solve the budget deficit to criticize the current occupant of the WH?

"This blind hatred of Trump is going to sooner or later blow up in their faces."

My hatred of tRUMP is informed by reading Haberman's biography "Confidence Man," Leonnig's book "I Alone Can Fix It" and Bender's book "Frankly, We Did Win This Election," among others. The NYT, WSJ, and WP are doing serious journalism that is quite informative.

Then I get on this board and see certain posters comparing Dr. Anthony Fauci to the Unabomber and maybe telling us that they read some fantasy novel. They don't seem like people with a serious intellect.

I teach a history class at a college. Anything I tell the kids is based on my research of events through multiple media sources, books, articles, videos, etc. I was not at any of the events so can't actually attest to the accuracy of basically anything I teach. With trump, isn't there enough out there through the years that shows he's probably worse of a person than anyone actually see's 1st hand? How much evidence does one need to quickly size him up? I understand being a republican, or being a conservative. He is neither of those. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/17UDihYPsR/

So far in what has been released (and there is going to be way more to come), Trump is mentioned over 1500 times. The last release is pretty damming...that trump knew what Epstein was up to and did nothing about it....which COLOR ME SHOCKED.

Case in point that even if there is something in there, so what....The guy tells us every single day was a piece of shit he is, MAGA could care less.

To Frank’s point, the Democrats could really just get out of their own way here.
The off cycle was a pretty good barometer of where sentiment is, midterms could be more of the same if they just offer something other than
Trump Bad - that messaging will only take things so far, and yeah, I’m sure folks are tired of it.

Tldr.
