Childs bike 16in

Honestly look for a Woom 3 (either at a shop or FBM) my daughter is on one and I love it. Super light. Proper hand brakes and free hub!

I just put my daughter on a 16" Guardian bike - also seems to be a great bike so far. I really like their Surestop hand brake

the concept is great, but im having trouble with the pricetag for a bike shes half way outgrown already (unfortunately still too short for a 20)
I was the same, I saved the real spending for the 24 inch which she’ll conceivably be on for 2-3 years. My 8yo was fine on a trek 16 and 20 with coaster brakes. My (almost) 5yo is on the 16 now, though she’s not taking to it like big sis. I don’t think a different bit would change that.

i hear ya, mine is taking to it like a fish to water, shes only 3.5 but already pedaling on her own and has definitely outgrown he 12inch bike. All she has to do is figure out how to start on her own and ill be in real trouble. I had a similar plan, will have to see how her growth spurts go in the next year or two.
