I mean as a Giants fan....They brought in two known bums on the cheap to be place holders until the new project QB is ready to be thrown head first into the deep end.....Wilson hasnt been good in years and if he was, he wouldnt be getting paid peanuts to be Jackson Darts mentor.....So this is going to be a long year I think. They will throw the new guy in way too soon im sure....We'll see him in 2 years as the Jags new backup.
Now of course, the jets throw Rodgers in the trash can because he was unwatchable, then he comes back and beats them with an MVP like performance.....Thats pretty Jets right there....that said, that was a way more entertaining game than the garbage the giants put together.

As an ever lasting and optimistic Jets fan thoughts… it was great watching Rodger’s get sandwiched in a few sacks. Realizing our CBs other than Sauce can’t prevent a TD is unfortunate, but wouldn’t it be great to see these points with our defense in full… all gas no brake

Russell Wilson wiped out any respect or stats earned during the game today by throwing that AWFUL pass to the opposite team.
At least they put up points… unlike the NYJ.

Not a fluke either.
He absolutely was shredding a very good Denver defense yesterday. Looked like the 2022 version, maybe better. Amazing what happens when you give a QB more than 1.5 seconds to process and actual weapons to throw to.
well Indys win yesterday was a fluke with that bogus FG penalty...but thats not on DJ, he played great.
And ya, when he had a good offensive line, good receivers, top level running back...he was "good"....
There's about 5 quarterbacks in the NFL at any given time that don't need a great situation to perform well. Eventually NFL teams will realize this.
