What have you done to your bike today?

Today I broke a spoke on the Stumpy. This comes after bending one on the gravel bike. I also got annoyed enough with the creak in the suspension of the Stumpy that I started pulling it apart and checking bearings. If they're smooth I'm just cleaning the pivots. So far found one that's rough, so bearings on the way!

Got my Canfield 155mm crank set installed today and Wolftooth seat post lever. I really don’t know how to describe the feeling of the shorter cranks. It’s really nice having my short legs closer together especially with the seat post higher.

Love those cranks, I ended up going with a 28 tooth chain ring to compensate for the reduced leverage. If you are struggling with the climbs, look into one of those.

Got the spokes on both rims fixed. Went home, reinstalled the tire on the MTB then went to do the gravel back, had this happen:

I was using a Park Tool plastic tire lever, nothing more. Never registered the wheels with Roval, so hopefully they will honor the warranty.

Godspeed. Tell them it happened while riding.

Got this on a Labor Day sale…really liking it!

I use about 75% of my travel with a higher PSI. At a lower PSI without it, I can only use about 60ish. Much softer and more comfortable especially with the tuned X2 damper. Much like my old DVO Sapphire now which out of the box performs much better.

Drilled a couple of holes thru my Crankbrothers M19 "tool flask" so that I could mount it directly to the frame. It didn't go quite to plan as I then discovered that one of the bolts was seized in the frame, so it's only held on with one bolt. The head of the seized bolt stops it from rotating.
It didn't fall off on my first ride; time will tell if the single bolt shakes loose.

I have rivnuts if you want to drill the one out - of course it will drop into the frame and make another project.....
guess we could get it out of the seat tube....

I'd say ez-out or counterCC drill bit for the win, especially if the bolt is Alloy. If it doesn't move 4mm drill bit and drill it out then rethread.

rethread.

??

I've never seen anything but rivnuts in a frame - get the outer flange disconnected from the barrel and boom.
it seems the old bolt is low, since the new one keeps it from spinning, it should just be a simple removal of the top????

are there other attachment solutions?
I have 20 small ez-outs, so I could attempt the extraction with a center hole

what am I missing?
