Two trees are down as of this morning. A chainsaw is needed to clear the both.

Thank you for mapping this, I can send this info to Park Rangers who can clear it next week.

Yup. Bear left at the bottom of the really fun DH and it's a few feet later.

Moved a lot of small and medium stuff at Huber after yesterday’s storm. One biggun below.

Hartshorne was good. The over-sized dogs (equines) left A LOT of fertilizer at Huber though

Friends of mine found the injured rider, called for EMS assistance and stayed with him until he was attended to. The preliminary diagnosis was broken ribs and a collapsed lung.

I happened to be riding solo in Huber when all of this was going down, so I heard/saw the EMS vehicle heading to Red Bank as I was rolling into the Clay Pit Creek parking area, but didn't learn the specifics until later in the day.

Did my typical ride of both parks this morning.

Big fallen tree on Rocky Point, not far from the bottom of the “Devil’s Elbow”. I came at it from the uphill direction, so no big deal, but it might catch riders off guard when they’re coming down the hill, at speed.

Back out there this morning. The fallen tree on Rocky Point has been cut.

Both parks are good to go. Super-dry and loose, though.

You can thank the Monmouth County Park Rangers at Hartshorne for this. Next day turn around is as good as it gets.
