Just to keep this bi-partisan. A well respected congressmen who is running for governor of NJ thinks along the same lines.

When the New Jersey state police colonel, Patrick Callahan, ordered a helicopter to fly over one of the drones, it suddenly switched off its lights. “In his professional opinion, he feared that it posed a danger to the helicopter and the two pilots, so he pulled them down and said he will no longer be pursuing any drones of that nature,” says Fantasia."

So that was not in her tweet that she posted summarizing this meeting, but that is at least some interesting info. Only strange thing to me is that the SP helicopters use FLIR cameras, so why would it matter to them if it switched its lights off? On top of the fact that they have a giant spot light under them. But I would say, coming from the SP cornel, i'd love to hear more and see the video. Really surprised they haven't released it. However, state and local authorities have spotted what they have assessed to be “large drones (up to 6 ft in diameter),” according to Assemblywoman Fantasia. They appear to “operate in a coordinated manner” and are “not identified as hobbyist drones,” she also said in her post on X.
Federal and state authorities have also categorically denied that the sightings over New Jersey have been of craft operated by government entities at any level, Michael Melham, Mayor of Belleville Township, said in a video he posted on Facebook about the “mayors-only” briefing he had attended. Whether or not they might be carrying any particular payload is currently unknown, he added.
“They operate in a coordinated manner. The lights are usually on and they’re blinking … but they do turn off at times, making it very difficult to detect. They appear to actually avoid detection by traditional methods,” according to Melham. “So when our helicopter, our state police helicopter, has gotten close, lights go off, and they go away. Makes it very, very difficult. We do not know and make and model. We don’t know anything else about them.”

“NJSP deployed helicopters … but could not detect drones, even with infrared cameras,” Assemblywoman Fantasia also wrote on X. “Suspended helicopter flights to investigate drones over safety concerns.”
“We have by far the most robust equipment is what the State Police told us. The detection equipment is up, but not detecting,” Mayor Melham said in his video update without elaborating on the systems in question. “We usually pick them up on local radar” he added.
The exact mix of capabilities that authorities are currently using to provide initial detection, and whether they are following up on individual reported sightings from the public, as well as how assets like helicopters have been tasked out in response, remain unclear. Considering nearly all the videos we have seen from civilians on the ground show mundane aircraft, they are not going to find anything once they arrive based on such reports.
Regardless, spotting and tracking small aerial objects using infrared video cameras on another flying platform can be challenging, especially for personnel who do not train to do so on a regular basis. This all recalls an incident The War Zone reported on in 2021 where what was described as a “highly modified drone” flying over Tucson, Arizona eluded a U.S. Customs and Border Protection helicopter that was tracking it on their FLIR camera system.
So I don't know what that means? Were they actually close enough to get crashed into or not? I would love to hear someone who has a fucking clue interview one of these pilots so we can hear what the actually saw. I don't know, but this story is the only thing that seems interesting so far....the rest is just MOUNTAINS of bullshit.
The fact that this women buys this Iranian mother ship story tho....makes me question her intelligence....Especially since the "ship" is thousands of miles away from us....

What does that mean exactly? They reviewed past radar data and couldnt find anything? They can't be picked up on radar?
I will not be convinced that the FAA or ATC would ever in a BILLION years stand for large flying objects that pose any threat to passenger aircraft in their controlled airspace. There has not been a mid air collision involving an airliner in this area since 1960.....Thats 64 years and bazillions of flights.....So either its something too small to be seen by them or its not there at all.

I couldn't believe it, until
This one seemed to be trying to take the moon out of orbit. It's to the right, and doesn't have any lights on to stay out of sight
Then right at my house. It wasn't moving. All though I didn't take a video I'm sure of it
Cause the two other lights are high up planes.

I saw one over my house in Middletown, Md last night. Sorta creepy. Looked like a slow motion military fueling plane or something.
I had some time waiting on an EWR pickup yesterday, so I sat and watched. This was during daylight hours and a clear sky. It was pretty amazing that if a plane was descending at the right pitch/angle/perspective, it appeared stationary for quite a long period (minutes). Trippy AF. Just makes me believe that at night, with paranoia, and with all these rouge CO detectors, 98% of these stationary objects are not stationary.

I'm confident there is something much larger brewing out there and the military is on full alert with these things. For reference I am close to DC, camp David and fort Dietrich. What I saw looked most similar to a Pterbo Dynamics type drone.
