Car-spotting thread

I have a friend with an Esprit and it was always a running joke about how all the components are basically random GM parts. One time he was mentioning he had to replace the interior light and it was a PITA. I joked and asked what GM car it came from and he angrily replied with OPAL. Sourcing a random Opal light in the US isn't as easy as generic GM stuff.

A few more from today.

Work parking lot. Did google search. MachE4X is some performance package. Makes sense why the Brembo brakes are YUGE.

New? Or used scat pack 392. Looked still all stock sounds good tho.

Then I saw this coincidental parking if a 2013 ish Santa Fe like mine ( in the orange/copper color ) parked 2 cars away from the new 2024 HIDEOUS Santa Fe. Just as bad as the front of a new BMW. Someone needs to get fired. If I ever get to replacing mine it will likely be a Kia sorrento (sister car to mine) until they F up that design too.

Local pizza shop owner is a car guy. I am 99% sure this is his alpha Romeo. Picture came out blurry but it was real clean.

I stand corrected !

360 wheels look really good on that esprit. Best guess is '92 or 93. '94 S4 got a wing half way up the hatch. 95 S4s got a big wing on the back noso you can't see the cop behind you

I had an S4s, last of the 4 cylinder Esprits. It was a hooligan. I adjusted my path to work so I could get sideways through a parking lot near my office. My ambition exceeded my skill one time and I spun it in third gear with a customer in the passenger seat

well ya...I posted this once a long time ago, but this is a 57 year old ford top loader with external linkage....they did not shift like a modern T-56 lol....which has internal rails.

Plus, I dont beat on it anymore....its made it 57 years without ever breaking, trying to keep that streak going lol.
