Tell me where you rode today...

Go out for a shake-down ride at the local park - find out most of the trails are closed for a race. Doh...

So... after doing a short loop (that included a wrong turn that required riding straight up a steep climb), packed up and drove over to the other riding spot:

Which was fun because these trails have this foreign substance we rarely see down in PA or NJ - loam. Grip for days.

The new Enduro 315 Carbon wheel along with more trail-friendly tires do make the bike feel lighter, but it's still a tank compared to the Spot. After a little over an hour and half, my legs feel shot. Granted, I also haven't been able to get out very much on any bike over the last two weeks.

Great weather this afternoon, couldn't resist a second ride.

They used to have a well with a hand pump at Project U.S.E. that I used once to fill up my Camelbak on a long ride. The water was ice cold and incredible! A few years later I was out on a long ride with a planned stop there to refill. I was really thirsty and almost out of water again, and the thought of ice cold water kept me going. I got there, but the pump was gone, with just a concrete slab where it used to be.
