2/28 173
2/7 173

Today 169

This week's loss 4

Total loss 31.1 lbs

Last weeks weigh in was deffinitly on the heavy side and I contribute some of this weeks loss to last week. I was hovering around 173 for awhile and broke through and hit 2 nice milestones of 30 pounds of loss and breaking into the 160s. I have been hitting it hard this week with lots of walking over 92k steps, multiple trainer and rower sessions and changed my lifting from single muscle group splits to push, pull, leg, rest, repeat. Really upped the weight I've been lifting too. Only had the gym set up in the basement for the past 5 weeks and im squating and deadlifting over 200lbs at this point so I'm deffintly headed in good direction. Bench press is deffintly still in the pathetic range but I add Weight to nearly every exercise every session. I've been pretty hungry all week and have been eating more than I had alloted but with all the exercise guess I just need more fuel in the tank.

Monday check in. Milestone!

Start(Jan 3): 206.4
Today: 171.2
Progress: -35.2 lbs

Diet has been consistent and good. Workouts are getting better and more consistent. I hope to only increase the duration and intensity of workouts as the days get warmer and the sun is out longer. Of course the wife is away on business this week which cramps my style and makes my schedule difficult, so we'll see how this goes. I've got a good plan of trainer time, outside rides, and downtime with the kids. As long as I can make that work, it shouldn't be that bad. I'm getting close to my goal. 165 is the mark and I've got a little under 4 weeks to go. That's just 2 pounds a week. I can do this.

Tuesday Truth Day
Starting weight 216 lbs. (12/30)
Fighting weight 195 lbs (4/1)

208 this morning. That's minus 1 from last week and despite the bag of "regular" sized fries from FiveGuys that I scarfed down at 10:00pm last night.

For those that don't know, a regular size from that place is a paper bag filled with big, greasy and delicious, peanut oil soaked fries. So let's just say I'm 205 and call it a day. 😎

And you deffintly succeeded in making me hungry for five guys fries!! I'm deffintly sick of dieting at this point and I can't wait to hit the maintenance stage. .... never letting myself get where I was at again.

Another kick in the proverbial motivational nuts, Sprain Ridge XC cancelled this morning so!

Looking on the bright side and how I stress relief ate my way through last week with my job situation, going to sign up for a new race sometime in April/Early May, pick up the pieces after the terrible weigh in coming tomorrow and get back on this train. LFG.

Some fun stuff listed here in that time frame.

Life is about balance. Theses past 2 years have wrecked havoc on many people’s health. It’s a good eye opener for a lot of us.
Totally agree. In 2-1/2 months, I've undone 32 years of yo-yo weight gain/loss and seeing a number on the scale I never imagined I'd see again. And still dropping. I look at it more as a lifestyle change for the better.

Wednesday Weigh In.

I'll say that being injured has definitely dampened my spirits a bunch, but I managed to get the scale to move in the right direction this week.

Still in too much pain to pedal a bike for any length of time, so I'm focusing on meal prep and things I can control.
