About 5 miles from the pad, I heard you used to be able to get closer, but still a great vantage point. About the same distance as the Kennedy Space center viewing area without having to spend $100 per. The launch was really loud, unfortunately the booster landed on a drone barge in the Bahamas, so we didn’t see them land. Next week they are planning for a base landing if anyone is in the area.
