Edit: Figuring we need a thread dedicated to stolen bikes. Have one stolen? Post it. See on that is probably stolen? Post it. Let's try to get bikes back to their owners.

Anyone missing a Diamondback DB8 size medium? For sale for $100 in Newark.

lol. Said he'd give it to me free and he doesn't want money.

I took pics of it, but it is red in color with a pink Muc Off front fender.

I do this. If I have computers or cameras in my car it gets locked… but if there’s nothing to steal I’d rather them not fuck up my car just to look around. I did have a homeless guy sleep in my old Explorer though… that was a smelly situation.

I had the same thing happen to me I set off the alarm to wake him then locked him in, we had jerky for weeks

The convo was quite interesting. First i asked what size it was.
Medium.
I asked if the price was negotiable or if they had paperwork.
They responded that it was a $3000 bike selling for $100.
I said that in the ad it was $100 obo.
They said yeah but I didn’t think someone would try to negotiate.
I said i couldnt fit into a medium anyway, but id ask my friend.
They said that they don’t want money and I can have it for free.
I asked why they no longer need it.
They insisted I have it for free and that it was only made of cheese.
I replied that my friend would stil take it and that we could meet at 480 Clinton Ave in Newark.

Then i blocked them.

Devils games are great. My wife and son go regularly. They park in the $40 lot next to the building and enjoy the massive police presence around the building (I wonder why that’s required, such a nice area, right?). I am a man of culture, but I realize and accept that different cultures require different levels of awareness and protection to be around. I very much prefer the culture experience of say Chester to the culture experience of Irvington.

Again I never said cars were safe in Newark you made that assumption on your own. You should concede that the idea originated to yourself.

Now I'm interested I'm willing to bet the surrounding areas have more car theft I'm going to see if I can find some data.

??? yall drive to the waterfront? Hop on the light rail, it takes like, 10 minutes tops from Penn Station Newark. IMO, train into Newark Penn, then light rail will access the 'tourist' stuff no problem.

Yeah, if you need to drive, don't leave valuables in your car. Do all of you guys [not you specifically] leave expensive shit in your car when you're parking on the street in LA or NY?
