Day two zero. Pretty much 2/3rds the way there!
Super slow ride this morning because the person I was riding with rides super slow. Lol. Lots of circling back. At least I took pictures.

Day 20: the upside to waking up in the 4:00’s is that by the time your alarm goes off at 6, you’re wide awake and ready to ride!

2 hours, 0:23 moving, the remainder TM = TM day. I will likely fulfill the hour at NICA practice tonight.
As mentioned, there was a 2’ tree that feel at Baldpate, across some rock steps, so a log over wouldn’t make sense. My silky saw is slow going on this and the base of the trunk being hollow helped. Need one more trip to finish it up. I take out an uprooted 6” tree here too and ride down the hill to get my Pulaski so I can fix the uprooted section as it in the trail. I am pretty beat after this so just ride down to the creek and climb back up.
Just as I start climbing, I hear barking in the woods. The area it is coming from doesn’t have a trail, I hear no human and the barking is coming towards me. I have no line of sight to the dog, so I yell HEY and it stops barking. After another min, it starts up again and is following me some in respect as the barking is just as loud as before. I am in a spot now where I could always go back down the hill but I yell HEY a few more times and it is not coming towards me any more. Do coyotes bark?
At the parking lot I clear this branch/vine tangle blocking a trail head and eat some primo berries:

Pretty much the same loop as the day before. Nothing too interesting other than a person walking on the sidewalk that jumped 3’ in the air when they heard me change gears as I passed by. Not sure what they thought was happening, but I guess my bike must be pretty loud.

Wife is definitely the alibi and vouch for my 1+ hour ride. A bit strange coming home from a bike weekend in Vermont and telling the wife I need to ride as it was storming in VT today so we left early.

Kid had been up since 3am. I was going to pull him in the trailer at 6am, but wifey said it would be better if she drove him around instead. She comes back, he's sleeping. Says to go ride my bike. 20 minutes into my ride they pull up alongside me and he's wide awake.
