What was it?

Maybe it's a bike that has everything integrated so you don't have to cable tie any sensors...gps, speed/cadence, power meter, lights, radio, and whatever other accoutrements exist currently and in the foreseeable future. All in at 17 pounds with a low APR.

A couple of touring bikes are close. A friend has a Specialized AWOL with quite a number of various electrical bits integrated along with a dyno front hub. With a USB power port in the stem cap and switches integrated into the bar end caps. It's really cool, although he was annoyed when he found out the bars are made for those switches and can't easily be fitted into flat bars.

I have dreams of designing a carbon frame/fork set that is similar, but with a battery integrated into the downtube. That battery would serve a number of functions: powering various devices (computer, lights, phone charging, etc.) as well as 100W (or so) seat tube motor (for that little extra kick to get over a long climb on a loaded touring bike). The battery could be charged via the dyno hub or through more conventional means or a solar panel on the back behind the rider.
