i rode here,,3 days ago and i didn't even have a map!!
i ride "the twisties" and made it out alive,...so you don't need map to ride this small park here!! that's my opinion!:)

Here is the secret.... This is the best map ever. Are you ready?

Step 1 - Ride, repeat. Ride, repeat. Ride, repeat.

Step 2 - Repeat step 1.

;)

on thing that is nice about 6 mile, concerning being lost anyways, is that if you were really lost, you could walk in any direction and eventually hit a road.

At least if you get lost in the twisties, you just keep riding in circles and get to enjoy some of the best singletrack in NJ ;)

You don't need a map for this place, but it does help to get a look at what is what before heading out just so you have some sort of idea of which way to head.

The first time I rode 6 mile I was with my fiancee and we got completely lost. It was no big deal, because we eventually spotted some landmarks and made our way back but it is still a bit intimidating to be in the woods with no sense of direction, even if it is a small patch of woods in suburbia.

My map is a product of my effort to learn the trails here. I rode there a few more times and got my sense of direction, but I wanted to put my visualizations on paper to make sure I had all of the dots connected. The problem with this map (or any other trail map) is that it isn't easy to translate your physical location to a dot on a map. Just go out and ride :D you'll find your way!

I will be going there hopefully this Sunday, may have some freinds coming.
Trying to make sure everything goes ok, thats all. Thanks guys..:D

I just did a quick ride at 6-mile yesterday after haven't ridden there for a while and I noticed colors of some trails may have changed since the last time I was there. I was wondering if anyone has the lastest map of the place. I'm inviting some folks who normally ride up north (Mahlon Dickerson, Kitatinny, Allamuchy, Stevens, Deer Park) to come down and I don't want to get them lost. Thanks.
