That’s awesome. Didn’t know any warthogs were based nearby.
The Maryland Air National Guard flies them. I usually have them over my house twice a week, one of those two they are using their weapons systems - the Gatling gun reverberates in my house when used. To see it at the gate of the Warren Grove range is unreal. The hard part is you never know when they will be on range.

One summer in the early 70’s while hiking on the Long Trail in northern VT we repeatedly heard that sound in the distance and learned later that it was the test firing of an electric Gatling gun. I think it was for the A-10. It definitely is a distinctive sound.
