Sterling Forest Trail Work Saturday December 3
Come help us build section "c" on this map. We need to finish this section before the ground freezes due to sensitive habitat. If lots of people show up we can get this done and move on to extending the loop. More trail is more better! You can ride your bike to the trail work location if you come late but we will need people to walk in and carry tools.
Project date: Saturday, November 12, 2016 - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Project/Trail Location: Sterling Forest State Park South Gate Trailhead at the corner of Buttonwood Rd in Tuxedo Park in NY. This would be P16 on the map.
Project Description: No experience is necessary, we will provide the training on site. Work trips are led by the NYNJTC's Corps members or on-staff trail builders.
Tool, gloves, safety glasses and hard hats will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Wear sturdy shoes and long pants. Bring plenty of water, and a lunch if you plan to stay all day.
Trail Conference membership is not required to participate.
Be advised: crew trips can be strenuous and fun. Be prepared to exercise your body and mind!
