West Milford Family Pump Track will be closing for the season soon, so they are having a casual Pump Track and Pizza Party to celebrate 2014 on Saturday, October 25, from 12-2 p.m. Come by, have some pizza, buy a t-shirt, ride a few laps, and see who is this year's pump track ambassador! Spoiler - they are going to get a new Giant BMX bike, courtesy of Giant, Town Cycle and John Florey/Highland Sports Group!
This leaves you plenty of time to get your costumes on and make it over to Darkness@909 - because racing mountain bikes in costume at night with lights=AWESOME!
Thanks to everyone who came out - we had a wonderful turnout, good pizza, and gave away some awesome schwag to 3 great pump track volunteers, courtesy of John Florey/Highland Sports Group, Giant, and Town Cycle. The Giant Method BMX bike went to 8 year old Jack Degnan as the Pump Track Ambassador for 2014, the Hunger family won a $250 gift certificate to Campmor for their extensive volunteering, and Casey Tynan also won a $250 gift certificate to Campmor for all of his promotion of and volunteering at the track!
Thanks again to everyone who comes out to support Jay and the track. The track will only be open for another few weeks before it is closed up for the winter, so don't miss having one last chance to ride the rollers!
