pre-Mooch rides

I hail from C. Jersey and have never ridden here. A friend and I would like to go scout the place prior to Mooch '11. I'm aware it follows the 2008 map which cuts in and out of Boy Scouts property and it isn't open to public. I'd go on regular public park land, of course. I'm also aware of Allamuchy Thursdays, but doesn't work for me. Anyone up for a Sunday 8/7 afternoon with a couple of Six-Mile-Runners and Chimney Rockers?

This is hard because you can't get the full loop affect unless you start and finish as the course is laid out too much in and out of the BSA. I say stay tuned and hopefully it will be open for prerides a week ahead race time...

You can get a good taste of what its like not jumping on the BSA trails. You'll just have to go with someone and have them tell you "ITS NOT LIKE THIS" or "THIS IS IT"
