Post your BooBoo's

About 8 seconds into my ride, trying to get around an entrance gate. Plopped to my side, still stuck in my pedals. Was going about .06 mph. Then 10 minutes later I blew out my tire and realized I left my pump at home. Limped back to my car on the walk of shame. 😛

@Glenn i love you dude but that's a monthly occurrence. Do you swing hammers for a living?
I have had 3 split finger nails to adjusting holding a god damn nail.
Remember I was swing hammers before air nailers.
Let's next get into shooting nails into your fingers.

Heal up bro!

Hit my thumb with a hammer.8lb dead blow.
View attachment 42393 View attachment 42394 three days later and still bleeding.
Fractured under nail bone. Waiting for nail to fall off.

I crushed mine between two pieces of 4'x8' soapstone and the doc had to do some serious reconstruction of the nail bed and reduce the fracture with a wire to put it all back together. He trimmed the nail and put it back in place to promote proper healing. I am assuming your nail bed needs fixing at the very least. Gnar-gnar thumbnail can follow if it heals all jacked/untreated. Good luck!

Nope I'm not very good at swinging hammers. Was just a stubborn wheel hub in a high milage POS.

50 mph and clipped a rock on a ride , my leg is fucked , shoulder and back are Rashed , good thing the go pro was rolling

I needed about 30 mins to let my body calm down ,haven't taken a hit like that since Baja

Few years ago, trying to keep up at 6 MR with a friend who was faster, hit a tree stump with my right pedal which sent me and the bike up in the air. Bike landed on its side with the handlebars pointing up. I landed with my chest on the end of the handlebars. One rib cracked, some bruising but no other damage.

@ktmrider that blows. Clipped a rock on a downhill in Montana last year--cartwheeling with a bike in a "hidden" boulder field--wrecked my season, shattered a helmet, all sorts of sh!t. Half of right hand is still numb 16months later. 1/4 mile from trailhead at end of ride. Talk about Suck. I define it sometimes. Heal up Bro! Where's the video?

So I was standing on the tool box loading up old garage doors on the ladder rack,I dont remember it clearly but fell off the truck landed on my head/back.6 staples and broke my #5 rib only 5 inches from my spine.
A week later still out of work and not even thinking about the bike yet.The first 3 days were so painful and my whole left arm was numb from the nerve pain in my back.Fun times!

I mentioned this over in the 'cross dresser's forum and images were requested, so here's the story:

Supercross Cup Day 2. I'm there early because I'm first race out. This is my first year racing CX, so I get to the venue early to figure out the mud/snow thing. My first pre-ride lap goes fine and I start getting an idea where I'm going to run and where I'm going to ride. In the middle of the second lap I decide to put spikes on my shoes and on the next run up, BAM!:

I slip and my head hits the bars just below my helmet. I was wearing a different set of glasses (think Malcom X) which have a metal bridge. I bled like a pig. I got off the course and walk/rode back to the car. Every course/race official offers to get me an EMT, but I decline for the moment. I get back to the car and I can't stop the bleeding so I finally request an EMT to stabilize the wound. Well, no EMT to be found, so I go back to the car and I continue to work on myself as I watch my race start. And finish. I finally get it to stabilize enough to drive home.

I decide against an urgent care/hospital visit and just relaxed and tended to the wound for the rest of the day. Might have been an error on my part, but it's going to scar either way.

The glasses are fine.
