OOS MOGA

How does the short track race work? Do you just ride the loop until you get lapped or time runs up? I read the thing but I'm making sure I understand. I prolly wont do it this year since I'm too noob and outta shape, but wanted to learn for next year. Thanks.

Correct.. 30 minute race.... (beginners) so if the leader is turning a 10 minute lap time the race is 3 laps.. faster lap times = more laps.
give it a try. for $20 you can meet a ton of people on the board, see how you like racing, and ride some trails you're normally not allowed on.

ride around until the leader finishes, then you finish. unless they see the leader right behind you.

it is fun, and lots of laughs. Do it, and let it get you motivated to ride from then on (or from now on?)

You ride around until someone tells you to stop. Do the beginner class. This year. Do it.

I don't think I can make #1 but I should be at 2 and 3. You should definitely go to the first one if you can, that way if you have a great time you'll have two more opportunities to do it again.

You can leave that blank or put whatever you want there. I suggest "I don't need no stinking team" but I'm not sure what the character limit is.

Good deal. I didn't want to catch shit for not putting OOS just because I'm on the strava club. Now I'm going to seek out a gay cycling porn site with a convincingly tame title in the hopes that the event organizers are intrigued enough to click it. Bahaha.


Edit: don't worry, I won't actually do that.

Lol, I'm not sure who told me about that site, but it was a running joke at my last job. Whenever we had somebody new in the NOC, we'd shoot them a message on aim saying we were having network problems, and does apartment21.com come up for you? Good times.
