Looking for a cheap or free carbureted motorcycle engine to install into my 1973 Wheel Horse Commando lawn tractor.

What?

Yeah, back in high school I had a 12 HP briggs in there and had here doing 30. I figure if I drop in 30HP and a real gearbox I could be doing 100 in no time.

Thinking I should be able to make a 250-300cc inline 2 fit.

Any leads would be appreciated, given the absurdity of this project I got about $150 to spend on an engine. Donations towards the cause are appreciated.

Wheel Horse is already very ruined. I was 17, 2006-7ish, that's pretty far outside of the 6 year property damage statute of limitations in NJ.

I actually destroyed the original transaxle, and pulled one off another tractor. So I in fact have ruined 2 classic Wheel Horses.

Pretty sure I saw that guy on my ride today. I motorpaced behind "the beast" until I got dizzy from the unburned hydrocarbons and the smell of stale American Spirits.
