Wouldn't you rather a 24 spd bike than 9? More is always better right? To a Walmart shopper, 24 is 2.7x better, simple math...

For me...
1. Its a bike build. Any bike build is fun
2. Putting the parts bin to good use
3. Getting a decent bike at the lowest cost possible.

My experience with electric motor factories was exactly the opposite, QC means rejects hence higher manufacturing prices, the same line produced electric motors for Mercedes, WV, Seat etc. The testing tolerances for Merc were far narrower than Seat’s. The bike industry maybe different.

But i think it's kinda bad ass to have a Walmart bike that rides better than your entry level stock trek and whatnot at similar cost.
My axum will put most entry level big brands to shame.
It's kinda like having a sleeper car lol

Yeah, new colors it think this year. Kent went from black to red. Though the parts are lower grade. Still has the high end SR fork doe, lol

I voted for Kent as it will be interesting to see how you build it, I have seen many upgrade videos for that. One thing to remember for Kent, it has an odd seat tube size, so your dropper choices are limited.
