I am absolutely and pleasantly astonished.
Going through Cyclecraft of Parsippany, Trek honored the lifetime warrantee on my 13 year old broken frame.

They had it turned around and back to me in less than two weeks.

Oh....whoops!

It's a Fuel 90.
It broke through at the top tube/seat tube juncture. The shop also discovered a serious crack near the shock fitting weld.
The rear triangle was fine.

It looks like the exact same thing....except shiny and new. I don't know if it was leftover surpluss or they're still making that frame for newer models.

dude that is awesome... I have heard great things about their warranty service... happy for you... there is NO SUBSTITUTE for having a quality shop back you...

That's great to hear as I have 2 GF's.

Unfortunately however, from what I am presently hearing from dealers, the popular belief is that new Treks will no longer carry a lifetime warranty on the frame. I have been told it will be 3 yrs only now.:cry:

nice to hear but yes they are still making the main frame and rear triangles as well. unfortunetly it is a common thing. enjoy the new main frame though!!!
