JORBA’s Winter Jam is coming! Bikes, Bonfire, BBQ and Beer, what is not to like?!

The event is on February 28th, 2016 at YMCA Camp Ockanickon, 1303 Stokes Road, Medford, NJ 08055. Doors open at 12:30 PM. This is the host of the wildly popular March Mayhem Race, and Mayhem Fat Four Endurance Challenge, part of the New Jersey Fatbike Endurance Series for 2016! The Jam will be held directly following the Fat Four race!

All registrants will be entered into the raffle for a Fuji Bighorn 27.5+ Mountain Bike (MSRP $1900.00) and numerous door prizes.

This is a social event and fundraiser, presented by JORBA and Mayhem Mountain Bike Events. Our goal is to increase awareness of trail advocacy efforts in New Jersey. We would also like to thank our members and supporters for a successful 2015 and discuss plans for an even better year of trails in 2016.

Please join us for Winter Jam 2016! Registration link: https://www.bikereg.com/jorba-winter-jam

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at Winter Jam!!!

*JORBA WINTER JAM RE-SCHEDULED*
After consulting with everyone involved, including the YMCA Camp Director, we have made the decision to postpone Winter Jam. Indications from the local OEM folks are that any current weather forecast scenario will adversely affect our planned festivities, and we are not willing to take a chance on your safe travel to and from the event.

Although we are bummed that Mother Nature hasn’t cooperated with us for this weekend, we feel that we have identified a perfect new date. We will hold Winter Jam directly following the Mayhem Fat Four Endurance Challenge on Sunday, February 28th. The race starts at 9 a.m., the Jam will begin at 12:30. Bikes, BBQ, Beer and Bonfire will all be on the agenda, and those who were asking for a daylight ride will much easier find it on the 28th.

We are very thankful that the camp was able to accommodate us with their busy winter schedule. If the new date does not work for anyone who has pre-registered, JORBA and Mayhem will take care of your fees. If you are not 100% satisfied, feel free to email ken@jorba.org to discuss.

Thank you for understanding, and please come out for the 4 B’s on the 28th after the race, come early and cheer on your fellow riders, or register for both! We are working on a package deal to make that last option way more appealing, so please stand by for details! If you are already registered for both, shoot us an email.

Thank you!

Ken Seebeck, JORBA Executive Director
Chris Schultz, Mayhem MTB Events

Food and drink (craft beer and nonalcoholic/water choices) are included with registration. Homebrewers please PM me for a code.

The concentration is on the social side, there is no organized group ride. The trails are well marked though, and riding is encouraged/allowed all day and during the social. Maybe ride there from home @jimvreeland, do a few laps to preview the fat4 course, have some peanut m&m's and a black bean burger and ride back? :D

Looks like fun - hopefully can make it. When I saw the venue I thought it was a misprint - my son went to boyscout camp several years at Camp Ockanickon in Pipersville, PA. Someone stole the name!

@KenS

The reg isn't super clear, does the $30 include a raffle ticket, or do you have to buy one/extra at the bottom of the page? Thanks!

Really looking forward to this :)
Anyone thinking of trying night riding should join us. And don't forget it's a great opportunity to support JORBA ;)
