Chimney Rock Thursdays

holy shit, i almost forgot what an asskicking felt like before last night. great ride guys and thank you @woody for coming back for me after my wrong turn.

You can always count on @woody for the rescue, he's good like that. We ran into Jeff D. at top of guard rail and chatted while we waited for the re-group...all good🙂

Thinking CR conditions might be less than ideal tomorrow. Anyone up for hitting RV instead?

I went to Somo this morning and was surprised how firm the ground was. Puddles yes but no mud, my bike came out with leaf debris on it.
CR may be ok.

What time?

I can start early today (wife is home as we have a funeral this morning). 5pm work?

I also plan to try & swing by CR when I get home to see current conditions. If I think it's rideable we can switch back.

I can join you guys today, give me a time and location.

I may be able to join today, but only at CR. So if trail conditions are OK, I'll ride. Are we thinking 4:30ish?

Confirmed by the Mayor CR is fine. Newmans Lane at 5pm. See you guys there.

I was sent on a mission to suffer through the slings & arrows of muddy misfortune.

Luckily for you all, it's fine. I mean here and there you have a puddle. But even lower blue was marginally worse than it normally is.

Maybe an even 3. Certainly not a 2. Have at it. @woody @Kirt @pooriggy @Clapper @Schilling and even selfie-loving @Mitch

Heading to Allaire to see if sand dries as quickly as rocks. Great to hear about CR though, and will hit it this weekend. Enjoy

Who's in this week? Bring extra water as it looks like its going to be a hot one.
