Chain Guide/Bash Guard Fitment Issue

Anyone have an issue putting a E.13 LG1 bash gaurd/chain guide on a 2017 sb5.5? Tried to put it on and I cant get it align. The inside the the chairing hits the guide, the only way to fix it is to move the guide in toward the middle of the bike. Stock raceface aeffect cinch crankset with 30t direct mount ring.

Is the boost spacing causing this? I would say its off about 5mm
 
Can you flip the ring? Most of them are offset and can be swapped to go out instead of in.
 
Boost spacing could definitely part of it if you bought a generic guide. Guides are usually not really adjustable and you have to hope, or look at the manual before buying, to make sure it works with your chainline. I remember early on in my bike career I had a BB mount slider guide and had to play with BB spacers to make it work. ISCG mount, as well as the chainring itself, you may be able to adjust with some small washers. I just don't use them because it's a hassle and really unnecessary outside of downhill bikes with the invention of clutch derailleurs.
