http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/48629586 Just got back, only one bridge needed work, but that was an easy fix. Some tree's are down, but I wont be able too work on them until next week.( I will be in New Paltz N.Y. for the weekend). The Wed. afternoon rides will be as scheduled.

I happened across this thread while hunting down places nearby where I can ride. I currently go all the way to Clayton from Mount Holly, but had been hoping to find something closer. Are you still having Wednesday afternoon rides? If so, I would like to join you guys if there's room. Let me know. Also, where's the entrance to this park. I was thinking about trying it today afterwork instead of Clayton.

Wed. pm rides are still on. 5:00 @ the Gate. Always room for one more. Take the light at Tauton lake Rd. & Kings Grant Blvd. Kings Grant Blvd. about one mile on right. An open field. Park on the field. Trails are not marked for our rides. It's best to go with someone who knows there way around.
Thanks! I'll try to be there tommorow. I know what you mean about going with someone who knows their way around. I went there yesterday around 6pm to look for the supposed entrance given by FiftyFixe under the Maps & GPR Coordinates thread. I found the "inlet" I think he's referring to at the Bradford & Kettle Run Roads intersection. As I drove back in there a little ways, I realized there was no way that could be a parking spot for more than 2 cars; nevermind having to turn around to get out afterwards! When I got home I looked over the track you plotted using your Garmin. I did come to the conclusion you must start exactly where you say for us to meet up. It was kind of hard to tell until I zoomed all the way in and could see where you actually started recording.
I really don't get off until 5:30, but I'll make an exception tommorrow. See you then!

Sorry if I misled you. As this is a brand new park we don't know for sure where the parking lot will be but that's looks to be the most likely spot. If and when it is the township will come in and fix it up. for the time being were parking and riding from this spot. N39.85067 W74.88951

Thanks fiftyfixe. I missed getting over there Tuesday, I did manage to ride around there on my own on Wednesday. Nice ride! I hope to make it there next Tuesday.

Hi - me and my son have done wed night rides with Jim and the group in the past and would like to rejoin the weekly ride. Is there a ride this wednesday night? Time and location? We used to meet up in the parking lot at Kings Grant but seems like things have changed...

i would also think it needs to be a little longer. it's hard to tell, but if its wedged low on the steep sides of a stream, it will more than likely get washed away in flooding rains.
