Didn't see anywhere else to post this.
Rode the Mt. Misery Trail in Brendan Byrne today for the first time.
What a fun trail!!
Nothing challenging, one stretch of some deep sand, but other than that just a fun trail with some great scenery and a chance to experience the Pine Barrens.
I parked at the main office, rode the Cranberry Trail to the pond, then picked up the White Mt. Misery trail and did the loop.
At the end of the loop I headed back to the pond, then did the Batona trail back to the main parking lot. I know, I know - bikes are not allowed on the Batona trails. But I was pretty much by myself out there today. I did see a couple people on the Batona trail. Passed them courteously and wished them Happy Holidays.
The Batona section was REALLY fun.
