If you build a man a fire he'll be warm for one night, but if you set a man on fire he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
Great stuff, the fun never ends around here.Don’t piss on the electric fence!
I don’t think I will be short on time, as a matter of fact, I will have a lot of free time on sat/sun. I will be in Cincy on Friday and don’t need to be in Indy until Monday, so I could really go anywhere out there for the weekend. If You have any suggestions, I’m all ears. I also have no problem going somewhere that is less populated to raid ride.Indy is FLAT. If you have time to travel an hour or more, I can get some "good" MTB suggestions from a friend of a family member.
If you are short on time, Fort Harrison offers MTB riding. Not sure the length but I hiked it and it's similar to Nox or Lewis Morris. Not too technical.

ThanksLook up www.coramtb.org tons of trails north of Cincinnati. They have a very good park system in Ohio. CORA exploits that.
thanks, ill check it out, why not. I'll be done work on tuesday and wednesday at 4:30.If you're willing to make an hour drive away from Indy there's some great options. I grew up an hour or so SW of Indy and have a few trail systems in mind that work that would be worth the trip since you're that close. A good resource for all trails Indiana - https://www.hmba.org/ that has a relatively active forum with trail conditions and recommendations if you're up for exploring other trail systems.
Brown County State Park - https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/1002206/brown-county-state-park My all-time favorite park to ride that's 'relatively' close to Indy at about an hour south. It's sort of in the same direction as Cincy so you're not going too far out of the way. Tons of miles, some good elevation gain and mix of roots, flow, and rocks depending on the trail.
If you're up for a hour's drive west to Terre Haute along I-70, Griffin Bike Park. Rapidly growing park with already lots of miles, features, jump lines, skills sections with a ton of local support and resources from the city. - https://griffinbikepark.com/ (bonus if you get to ride the Trail Boss' trail "AWOL")
Southwestway Park (https://www.trailforks.com/region/southwestway-park/map) and Town Run (https://www.trailforks.com/region/town-run-trail-park/) are both right in the immediate Indy area. I haven't done much riding in the Indy area but used to hear a lot of talk about those places to get a decent ride in.
*Pray for good weather because it's been notoriously wet and every time I visit I bring the bike and end up getting rained out. The larger parks are usually pretty good about posting conditions frequently*

That's the place! Is this the one that has a trail across the pond?
Looks like it's covered above. Family member also said Brown County is the place to be.
Thanks for the tips, I did a short ride yesterday and will definitely go back on Monday for a longer one. I’m going to check out that monon trail today and see if I can score some meth.If you're willing to make an hour drive away from Indy there's some great options.
